"There are between two and five days between the first symptoms and death," she explained.
A fatal disease in half of the cases
This epidemic is all the more worrying as parvovirus kills dogs that are affected half the time.
The specialist therefore asks the masters to be particularly attentive.
“The symptoms are vomiting, hemorrhagic diarrhea and depression, she detailed.
It can be very painful.”
The veterinarian received many dogs suffering from the disease, including a young female who did not survive.
Malika Bois d'Enghien nevertheless wanted to be reassuring by ensuring that it is possible to prevent parvovirus.
There is indeed an effective vaccine against the pathology.
