, Félix Moati scrolls through his selection of songs, from Jack Kittel to Marlon Williams.

The actor and director, who has a great passion for music, explains that he has long dreamed of making a career there.

"I did everything to be a musician," he explains at the microphone of Europe 1. "Except that I have no talent for that!"

As a teenager, Félix Moati founded a rock band with his friends, the Amok Music Club.

"I was 17, I was on bass, except that I had no sense of rhythm," he laughs.

"I got my band's name tattooed. I'm the only one who got tattooed. And they fired me after three or four weeks. But they're still my best buds today."

The group had a small success, before disappearing.

“My friends happily make fun of me, but I keep it proud!”, he explains.

"But I wanted to be a rock star, obviously. I definitely wanted to be a rock star, and I think I missed out on my life."

The "fantasy" of rockstar life

What attracted (and still attracts) the actor in the life of a rockstar?

"The illusion of living fast, of never getting too heavy," he replies.

"I have friends who really fill concert halls. And when I'm behind backstage and see them take the stage, it's very impressive. It gives you an absolute thrill."

And post-concert loneliness doesn't scare him.

"Even this melancholy pleases me, because I make it aesthetic. I find it romantic since I don't live it", he admits, before adding with a smile "There is the myth of the groupies, too. But it is a myth."
