Anger is brewing among motorists who regularly take the D925, in the Somme.
As France Bleu reports on Monday, many of them complain about a mobile speed camera located at the exit of Friville-Escarbotin.
This would flash vehicles that are nevertheless driving below the authorized 80 km/h.
A calibration problem?
The gendarmes, who have been receiving calls from disgruntled users since this weekend, put forward a hypothesis: the radar having been moved, it would have taken a little time to settle.
So there would have been a calibration problem.
The soldiers, however, assure
L'Eclaireur
that motorists wrongly flashed will not be fined.
For its part, the prefecture must carry out checks in the coming days.
In the meantime, the gendarmes tested the famous radar and passed in front of it at 78 km / h.
The device would not have triggered.
