Actor Yoo In-soo, who played the terrifying villain Yoon Gwi-nam in the Netflix series 'Now at Our School', shared behind the scenes of the filming.

In 'Now At Our School', which showed the potential of 'K-High School Zombie', Yoo In-soo took on the role of Yoon Gwi-nam, a villain who is more threatening than zombies and has more tenacity than anyone else, boasting a strong presence at every moment.

In an interview related to 'Now at Our School', which was recently conducted with a number of media outlets such as OSEN, Insu Yoo said, "I weighed up to 10 kg while filming 'Now at Our School'." The unexpected reason for turning into a zombie and gaining weight said.

It was because of the 'makeup blood' made from a material similar to starch syrup. Yoo In-soo said, "There are so many scenes in the drama where a nobleman attacks so much, so in the second half, every scene was played with fake blood. But the makeup blood is sweeter than I thought and tastes good. So I gained a lot of weight while eating it.”

Yoo In-soo continued, "At first, I lost weight in order to better express the handsome man who turned into a zombie and had fun. In the second half, I sprinkled blood for makeup on every scene, but after the work was finished, I took off the blood makeup and took the picture. Every time I took a picture, my face came out big, so I immediately focused on losing weight.”

Yoo In-soo, who debuted as Kang Goo in the 2017 JTBC drama 'Strong Woman Do Bong-soon' and played a minor and supporting role in several works, emerged as a popular actor through 'Now at Our School'.

Regarding this, Yoo In-soo said, "Most of the time, I always had doubts and uncomfortable feelings about acting. For me, 'Ji Woo-hak' was a work that boosted my self-esteem. I gained a lot of confidence in acting."

Yoo In-soo also said, "I thought of the character as an ordinary person who could be around us. I tried to express the process of enjoying and showing off, as a noble man with a second-person complex becomes the strongest in this worldview." "I looked it up in my daily life. What I referenced is that I constantly saw people driving recklessly on YouTube, filmed with a black box. I wanted to keep my own small anger while having a sense of damage.”

In particular, Yoo In-su, who put much effort into the zombie choreography and action acting for the character Yoon Gwi-nam, shared the secret story, "I practiced for the first time with Chan-young Yoon, who plays the role of Cheong-san Lee, and it was so difficult that I vomited. "I still don't know if Gwinam will appear in season 2. I asked the director, but he never answered."

The Netflix series 'Now at Our School' took the top spot in 23 countries including Korea, Japan and Hong Kong on the 29th of last month, the day after its release, and maintained the top spot for 15 consecutive days.

In the play, Yoo In-soo played the role of Yoon Gwi-nam, a villain who became an immortal (immune) after committing school violence.
