Several Covid-19 vaccination centers set up in Loiret will close their doors in the days and weeks to come.

This is for example the case of the structure of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire (Loiret), which will cease to receive patients on February 22.

Two days later, one of the centers made available to the inhabitants of the metropolis of Orléans (Loiret) will also stop its activity in the middle of the day, reports France Bleu Orléans.

150,000 doses administered in Montargis

This is that of Saint-Denis-en-Val.

However, the prefecture will keep four vaccination sites open.

In Montargis, the vaccination center set up in the Carnot room will disappear on March 11, 2022. It opened to the public on January 18, 2021 and has since allowed the administration of a total of 150,000 doses of vaccine.

These closures come as the number of appointments made in the centers has dropped sharply.

Doctors and pharmacists can in fact now perform injections on a population with high vaccination coverage.

530,000 inhabitants of Loiret have a complete vaccination schedule.
