Recently, the owner of a fruit store in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province asked the fire department for help. An animal broke into the store and ate more than ten pounds of cherries in three days.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and found that it was a wild civet.

According to the owner, the civet had been in his shop for three days and three nights and was not willing to leave, and ate more than ten pounds of cherries sold in the shop.

Firefighters decided to use snake traps and anti-fall nets to catch the civet without harming the civet.

The fire rescue personnel cleaned up the sundries and other items in the civet’s hiding place, and put its favorite cherries next to the anti-fall net as bait to lure the civet to come forward. Catch it and send it to the wild for release.
