• France 2 is broadcasting the first issue of

    Un flirt & une danse

on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 , presented by Faustine Bollaert.

  • The concept of

    Un flirt & une danse

is to invite single people to learn, with a teacher, a choreography which they will then dance on the set, with a stranger also in search of a soul mate.

Elodie Frégé, Sheila and Agustin Galiana are the three witnesses of the program: their mission is to deliver their on-the-spot comments on what they have seen.

  • "In

    Un flirt & une danse

, there is no voyeurism, no headache, no gritty elimination or awkward moment", explains Faustine Bollaert who also says that "this show is a candy".

The day after Valentine's Day, France 2 will make many hearts beat faster and measure.

The channel is launching

Un flirt & une danse

on Tuesday , an entertainment very loosely adapted from the British format

Flirty Dancing

.

“We changed 99% of the concept to make it a great show around love,” explains Arthur, who produces the show through his company Satisfaction.

Concretely, this new program invites single people from 23 to 80 years old to learn, with a teacher, a choreography which they will then dance on the set, with a stranger also in search of a soul mate.

These two hearts to take, that the production brought together by potential affinities, only meet one another on the dance floor, without having discussed beforehand.

“We had a smile on our lips, tears in our eyes”

“Today, fashion is online dating.

So that two people who don't know each other start by discovering each other by touch before discovering each other visually and especially hugging each other, that means something, ”said Sheila.

With Agustin Galiana and Elodie Frégé, the singer of

Spacer

is one of the three "witnesses" of the show who, on the edge of the track, are in the front row to witness the premises of these (possible) budding loves and tell then what they felt.

“We forgot the cameras.

We had a smile on our lips, tears in our eyes.

We felt like we were in our cocoon with our ice cream watching a romantic comedy.

We got sucked in,” says Faustine Bollaert.

The host brings to

Un flirt & une danse

her humor and her empathy, far from any cynicism.

Know it: the program is savored in the first degree and appeals to our blue flower side.

“I showed the program to friends who were wondering what this UFO could look like and what it was doing on France 2. They were seized in two minutes”, continues the presenter.

The whole thing has the potential to make the audience tender as a marshmallow and that's the goal.

"This concept is a candy," says Faustine Bollaert.

"It's not reality TV, it's reality on TV"

“It feels good to tell great stories, claims Alexandra Redde-Amiel, director of games and entertainment at France Télévisions.

At this time, we need to find ourselves, to touch up, to experience sensations again, to talk about emotions, love, things that feel good.

"" Such sweet shows, where there is no incident, where everything is fine, it's rare, engages Arthur.

It is a program where there is no elimination, no winner.

The only winner is love.

After waltzing on stage, the two bachelors go backstage each on their own to let people know whether or not they plan to see their dance partner again, then they return to the set to find out the result.

“There was a lot of modesty between the participants.

When someone decides not to go any further, you can't say it's a rake for the other,” says Arthur.

“All those who come are very lucid, supports Faustine Bollaert.

I saw them all in the dressing room before the shoot, they didn't feel like they were going through anything dramatic.

They tell themselves that at best they meet someone and at worst they will have had a good time dancing with a nice partner while creating a pleasant memory.

“And the host to insist:” In

Un flirt & une danse

, there is no voyeurism, no headache, no gritty elimination or awkward moment.

It's not reality TV, it's reality TV.
