Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the female genital system which can cause, in those who are affected, pain so violent that it becomes disabling.

This disease has long been ignored and is still little known to the general public and some health professionals.

However, in France, it concerns between 1 to 2 women out of 10. To advance research and improve the lives of patients, Emmanuel Macron announced in January the launch of a national strategy.
