Iraq.. 3 women committed suicide coinciding with "Valentine"
On Monday, Iraqi media reported that 3 women committed suicide due to family disputes, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
"Sputnik" quoted "Shafaq News" agency as saying that one of the cases was "a woman, born in 1977, who tried to commit suicide by burning herself inside her house, east of the capital, Baghdad, and she suffered severe burns as a result of the suicide attempt."
She added: "Another woman, born in 1977, committed suicide by setting her body on fire using gasoline inside her home, east of Baghdad, which led to her death, and the cause of suicide was due to family problems."
And she continued: "A third young woman, born in 1992, committed suicide by hanging herself with a cloth shawl inside her home, also east of Baghdad, due to differences between her and her husband."
