Opened on September 8, the trial of the November 13 attacks which killed 130 people in Paris and Saint-Denis has already been interrupted twice since the beginning of January, two defendants having contracted the coronavirus.

This could be the case again on Tuesday when a new accused tested positive for Covid-19, we learned on Sunday from sources familiar with the matter, confirming information from France Inter.

Mohamed Amri, made an antigen test on Sunday which turned out to be positive, indicated the president of the special assize court of Paris in a message sent to the lawyers.

“As it stands, it appears that the hearing will not be able to resume on Tuesday or this week given the isolation period in force,” according to the message.
