Recently, when five tourists drove their vehicles to the vicinity of Yixiula Mountain, Chawalong Township, Chayu County, Nyingchi City, Tibet, the road to Chayu County was blocked due to an avalanche, and the vehicle fuel was insufficient to return to Chawalong Township. There are no other villages and towns around, and the severe altitude sickness is in urgent need of rescue.
After receiving the police information, the Linzhi City Forest Fire Detachment immediately transferred the police to the Chayu Squadron and requested to send forces to organize rescue.
Rescue workers arrived at the scene, but the trapped people could not go down the mountain due to the avalanche, and the rescuers went to the accident site on foot for rescue.
At present, the five trapped persons are in good physical condition. The vehicles of the trapped persons are still parked on the side of the road at the avalanche.
