Nagasaki Prefecture and others announced on the 12th that it was newly confirmed that a total of 248 people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 20,267 people were confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Sasebo City also announced that two people infected with the new coronavirus have died.
The number of infected people who died in the prefecture is 87.
