Jérôme Rodrigues, one of the figures of the "yellow vests" and active support of the anti-sanitary measures convoys, was arrested this Saturday near the Elysée, we learned from a police source.

He was arrested as the organizer of a demonstration banned by the Paris police chief, the same source added.

A known figure in the "yellow vests" movement, Jérôme Rodrigues claimed to be on social networks as one of the organizers of the anti-sanitary measures convoys, self-proclaimed "freedom convoys".

He was arrested near the Elysée, at the corner of rue Duras and rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, while the police were restoring traffic on the avenue des Champs-Elysées where demonstrators taking part in the anti-pass convoys had burst into their vehicles.
