Investigations revealed the authenticity of the incident, and confirmed the practice of a criminal activity by a person residing in the Nagaa Hammadi Police Station in Qena in the field of defrauding citizens by deluding them of the strength of his relations and his ability to appoint them to jobs in various government agencies or to enroll their relatives in military colleges, contrary to the truth.
The fraudster managed to seize sums of money from the whistleblower, claiming that he was able to enroll his son in a military college, but he did not fulfill his promise and refused to return the sums of money he had received, according to the Egyptian "Cairo 24" website.
The security forces arrested the suspect, and by confronting him, he confessed his criminal activity, and legal measures were taken.
