The kidnapped Syrian child Fawaz Qetaifan.. The ransom amount is ready and the gang is not calling

A state of anticipation in Daraa, Syria, with the expiry of the deadline set by the kidnapper gang to deliver the ransom, in exchange for the kidnapped child Fawaz Qetaifan, and the continued interruption of communication with its members.

The deadline expired yesterday evening, and before that, the family had announced through the Syrian artist Abdul Hakim Qetaifan that they had collected the required amount (500 million Syrian pounds / 140 thousand dollars), and that they were ready to abide by what they promised, "but the kidnappers have not contacted so far."

The case of the child began to interact in Syria and abroad after a videotape published by the kidnappers about a week ago, of the child they kidnapped 3 months ago, in the town of Ibtaa, and the child appears in the video being tortured, with the aim of putting pressure on the family, to pay the ransom.

Daraa is still witnessing other kidnappings, as local pages reported that kidnappers demanded ($100,000) to free a person they kidnapped a few days ago in the town of Tasil in the western countryside of the province.

A dentist was also kidnapped while returning from his clinic in the town of "Umm Walad" in the eastern countryside of the governorate. In the same town, another dentist was kidnapped on the fifth of this month.
