Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food of South Korea issued a regulation that in the future, when taking pet dogs out in South Korea, the length of the dog leash should not exceed 2 meters.

Previously, the length of the traction rope was not limited, and there were hidden dangers of accidents and conflicts.

If the pet dog leash exceeds 2 meters, the dog owner will face a fine of 200,000 won (about 1,059 yuan) for the first time, 300,000 won for the second time, and 500,000 won for the third time.

According to statistics from the South Korean government, between 2016 and 2020, there were 11,152 dog bite accidents in South Korea, about six per day.
