Before dawn on the 10th, a fire broke out in a house in Saroma-cho, Hokkaido, and two people who seemed to be residents of this house were found in the burnt remains.

Around 3:00 am on the 10th, a fire department was notified that "the next house is burning" in Nishitomi, Saroma Town, on the Sea of ​​Okhotsk side of Hokkaido.



Sixteen fire trucks and other vehicles went out and the fire was extinguished about four hours later, but the fire burned down a two-story wooden house and two people were found dead in the burnt remains.

According to police, there are three family members living in this house, of whom the couple in their 70s and 60s have lost contact after the fire.



My son, who lives with him in his 40s, evacuated from the window on the second floor, but he had a burn on his hand and was treated at the hospital.



The police are confirming that the body was found as a couple who could not be contacted, and are conducting on-site inspections jointly with the fire department to investigate the cause of the fire.



The site is located in a corner along the town road about 1 km southwest of Saroma Town Hall.
