  Promoting the Reform of School Physical Education Evaluation

Establish an evaluation mechanism for school physical education and physical health management, and take the excellent rate of the national student physical health standard test and the myopia rate of children and adolescents as important content of school education and teaching assessment.

To improve students' physical health records, primary and secondary schools should objectively record students' daily sports participation and physical health monitoring results, and provide regular feedback to parents every year.

Incorporate physical education into the comprehensive quality evaluation system of students, including the end-of-term test of primary and secondary schools, the academic level examination of junior and senior high schools, and the management of credits for secondary vocational students.

Improve the content, methods and scoring methods of the physical education test in the senior high school entrance examination, and gradually increase the physical education score of the senior high school entrance examination.

  Starting from the first-year junior high school freshmen who will be admitted in the fall of 2022, all cities (states) will comprehensively incorporate art subjects into the senior high school entrance examination and use them as high school entrance examination admission scoring subjects

  The "Implementation Plan for Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education in the New Era" pointed out that the school aesthetic education evaluation system should be improved, and the learning of music, art, calligraphy and other art courses by primary and secondary school students and participation in school-organized art practice activities should be included in the academic requirements. Art subjects are included in the scope of the junior and senior academic level examinations.

Fully implement the art quality assessment of primary and secondary school students, and incorporate the assessment results into the comprehensive quality assessment of junior and senior high school students.

Promote the reform of art subjects in the middle school entrance examination. Starting from the first-year junior high school freshmen who will enter in the fall of 2022, all cities (states) will fully incorporate art subjects into the middle school entrance examination and use them as high school entrance examination admission scoring subjects. The content of the examination is based on the curriculum standards promulgated by the state. It is determined that the results are mainly composed of artistic quality assessment and skill test scores.

The quality monitoring and evaluation of art education shall be implemented in an orderly manner, and sample counties shall be selected for regular monitoring, and the scientific nature, pertinence and effectiveness of the evaluation work shall be continuously improved.
