After arriving at a high-rise residential building in a certain community, they randomly selected a unit and went up the stairway, and found that the fire doors on multiple floors were all open.

The normally closed fire door is equipped with a door closer. Under normal circumstances, after someone opens the door and passes, the door will automatically close, and the fire door damaged by the door closer cannot be automatically closed, and it is not closed tightly.
After taking photos and recordings of the undertaker prosecutors, they visited several high-rise residential quarters and found that the normally closed fire doors were "normally open".
During the visit, the residents also told the undertaking prosecutor that they did not know the function and usage of the normally closed fire door, and "didn't care about the prompts posted on the fire door."
Some residents reported to the undertaker that some neighbors were storing sundries in the fire exit.
After the investigation was over, the prosecutor in charge consulted with the person in charge of the relevant sub-district management committee and the fire department by telephone and discussion.
"We have to take care of this matter. At present, it is necessary to increase supervision and strengthen the popularization of fire protection knowledge." The person in charge of the fifth procuratorial department of the hospital told reporters that the hospital will pass the procuratorial recommendations in the later stage. In this way, relevant units and departments are urged to jointly solve the "normally open" problem of normally closed fire doors and guard the "door of life" of fire safety passages.
