Berlinale 2022: Who will win the 2022 Golden Bear?

The Berlinale's Golden Bear and Silver Bear are among the most coveted distinctions in world cinema.

From this Thursday, February 10, 18 films will be in the running for the prestigious award from the Berlin International Film Festival.

The Golden Bear is one of the most coveted film awards in the world.

Indian-American director M. Night Shyamalan, president of the Berlinale 2022 jury, will present the prize on February 16.

series , the Berlinale 2022 international jury is made up of six other members: director, screenwriter and visual artist Karim Aïnouz (Brazil / Algeria), director and screenwriter Anne Zohra Berrached (Germany), filmmaker and writer Tsitsi Dangarembga (Zimbabwe), director and screenwriter Ryûsuke Hamaguchi (Japan), actress and producer Connie Nielsen (Denmark) and film producer Saïd Ben Saïd (France / Tunisia ).

As for Isabelle Huppert, she will be distinguished on February 15 with an honorary Golden Bear and a retrospective with seven of her 150 films, television films and television series in which she has played.

After Catherine Deneuve, Jeanne Moreau and Anouk Aimée, the favorite actress of Claude Chabrol, Benoît Jacquot and Michael Haneke will go down in Berlinale history as the fourth French actress to be honored with an honorary Golden Bear.
