Egypt..a scammer who defrauds citizens of 501 million and disappears
During the past few days, the Egyptian governorate of Damietta witnessed the emergence of a new fraudster who defrauded a number of citizens and seized millions of pounds, claiming that they were used in the fake real estate trade, before disappearing completely.
Egyptian media reported that the aforementioned person eventually failed to pay the profits and return the original amounts, which prompted some victims to write several official reports against him, and it became clear from these reports that the total amounts seized by the fraud exceeded 501 million pounds.
Issam Khalaf, the victims' lawyer, said: "My lawyers and I filed several cases for a number of victims because the accused deluded his victims into owning a group of real estate in separate areas... After a while, he accumulated a large number of their money and disappeared completely."
