The management of Al-Hadath channel decided today to permanently stop the “Life is Better” program on the channel’s screen, while preventing the appearance of the two media professionals, Sharaf Adel Mustafa Kamel and Nouran Mahmoud Al-Sayed on “Al-Hadath Today” screen permanently, while taking the necessary legal measures against them, for harming the media professionalism of the channel. , said the statement.

The management of Al-Hadath channel also decided today to stop all the producers and the director of the program, and to refer them all to the investigation.

An official source in the Media Syndicate revealed that the Syndicate will sue Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel and the aforementioned program, accusing the program of making a false intervention with a person claiming to be the world-class doctor Magdi Yacoub.

The source explained to the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan, that the union will also take over the disciplinary aspect of the program's presenters, especially after the decision of the Supreme Media Office today, and will announce the details of the prosecution that it will carry out.

Earlier today, the Bureau of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation decided to stop the "Life is Better" program on Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel, refer the channel's officials for investigation, and address the Media Syndicate to deal with the disciplinary aspect of the program's presenters.

The Monitoring Committee of the Council had followed up on the program broadcasting a false telephone conversation with Dr. Magdi Yaqoub, which caused misinformation, fraud and a breach of the professional credibility within which the various media outlets must work.
