Surprising developments in the case of Renad Imad, "The Tik Tok Girl"

The Cairo Economic Court decided to accept the appeal of Renad Emad, known in the media as the “Tik Tok Girl,” against the ruling against her of 3 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 pounds, accusing her of publishing videos containing indecent materials, and canceling her imprisonment.

The Dokki Prosecution had decided to detain the accused for 4 days pending investigation, on charges of providing indecent content and videos, which fall under the broadcast of pornographic materials on the social networking site "Tik Tok".

According to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, the accused said, in the investigations, that some companies claim to be marketing clothes and shoes on social media and are attracting girls, noting that her dream was fame and quick wealth.

The Egyptian Literature Investigation had arrested the accused, Menna Allah Emad, and her fame is Renad Emad, inside a cafe in Dokki area owned by the son of a famous folk artist, after she was spotted presenting videos on Tik Tok containing pornographic materials.
