The contract of those who qualified for the finals of the Salq Championship organized by the “Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival” within the Fazza Heritage Championships was completed, at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds for the 15th edition the day before yesterday, after three continuous days of strong competition, in order to reserve the seats of the final scene scheduled to be held on February 19 in Al Marmoom Squares in Dubai.

Over the past three days, the qualifying rounds for male and female climbing for the amateur category were held for a distance of 2500 metres, male and female climbing for the professional class for a distance of 2500 metres, and male and female climbing for the professional class for a distance of 1000 metres.

The head of the tournament’s organizing committee, Juma Al Muhairi, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the work teams and the cooperation of all the participants, who became highly professional and accurate in dealing with the instructions and laws of the tournament, which made us follow a strong competition in the qualifying rounds, which we expect to rise during the upcoming finals.

Al Muhairi indicated that the organizing committee maintained the tournament system itself, in light of the successes it achieved, and also in the interest of facilitating the registration process for participants and helping them to complete all necessary procedures, with the aim of receiving the annually increasing participation in this sport stemming from the popular heritage that is transmitted between generations successively. .

The competitions were characterized by wide participation, whether from within the country, or participants from the sisterly Gulf countries.

Bahraini Hamad Al-Rumaihi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizing committee for the tournament, in which he is participating for the third time, and said: “This event brings together young people from different countries of the region to meet in a warm fraternal atmosphere that transcends the frameworks of winning and losing, in addition to the fact that this tournament is a catalyst for excellence thanks to the support of the sheikhs. Honorable people, it is also an outlet for us to practice this hobby that stems from the old sniper, but now this type has turned into speed racing.”

For his part, Saudi Mohammed Ibrahim confirmed that this tournament is considered one of the best tournaments in the Gulf, given the high level of organization and the arrangements it provides in each edition. Support from the organizing committee.
