An association from Aachen made public a curious argument about a performance by folk music singer Heino (83) last September.

The singer's appearance at the 2021 summer festival did not correspond to the contractually agreed services, the Walheim leisure and recreation association explained on its Facebook page.

Specifically, it is about the fact that Heino appeared for full playback.

His management is fighting back.

The non-profit association does not want to accept that Heino agreed to a half-playback contract with live singing, but "only made a full-playback performance (everything from the tape)", it said.

You want to file a lawsuit.

But the addresses of the management cannot be reached by post.

The association demands a part of the fee back.

An out-of-court settlement was attempted.

The "Aachener Zeitung" had reported about it.

The artist's management told the dpa that Heino sang every title during the performance.

How the performance succeeds is up to the artist.

The organizer had already asked for a reduction in the fee before the performance with reference to the Corona situation.

"It's purely about monetary intentions," said management.

The association is responsible for a leisure area in Aachen with a playground, barbecue huts, beach volleyball and other offers.
