Victims of a cyberattack last November, the computer services of the city of Annecy (Haute-Savoie) will be further disrupted for several weeks.

The objective for the time being is to rebuild digital security, reveals

Le Dauphiné Libéré.

A total of 150 applications need to be restored to working order.

At the end of January, 40 of them were already operational again.

According to the city's director of digital uses, 80% of city employees' computers have been recovered by IT departments.

Only 40% deemed to be in good working order were redistributed to agents.

Unidentified hackers

The city will invest more in cybersecurity to prevent another cyberattack from happening again.

The director of digital uses has given himself until March 31 to rebuild all of the municipality's sites.

So far, no data theft has been identified.

The identity of the hackers is still unknown.
