The writer moved to Madrid in 1975 to study Cinematography.
His work has been made into films

(adapted by himself and directed by Miguel Hermoso, 2002, winner of numerous international awards) and

(Daniel Calparsoro, 2012).
In 2020 he has co-authored the script for the documentary short
Biography of the Corpse of a Woman
