(Walking to the grassroots level in the Spring Festival) "Taihu Change" in the eyes of old fishermen: from "relying on the sky to eat" to poetry and distance

China News Service, Huzhou, February 4 (Reporter Shi Zinan) On the 4th, at the dock of Taihu Lake anchorage area in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, ship owner Wang Zhenxue boarded the Zhejiang Huzhou Cargo 5175 cargo ship to check whether the machines in the ship are normal.

Although it is still during the Spring Festival holiday, he still gets on the boat every day. "After staying on the boat for a long time, I feel uncomfortable if I don't come for a day."

The 56-year-old Wang Zhenxue has been on a boat for more than 30 years and runs the Taihu Lake route all the year round.

From the initial 9-ton cement ship to the current 500-ton tanker; from transporting stones out of Huzhou for sale to carrying ore powder back to Huzhou; from navigating by the compass to using the AIS ship system... He has witnessed the earth-shaking changes in the Taihu Lake Basin. .

"It is often said that there are three hardships in the world: forging iron, punting a boat, and grinding tofu. The hardship of punting is to bet on fate. In the past, sailing a boat was all based on experience and courage. If it encounters wind and waves or runs aground, it will be more dangerous." Wang Zhenxue According to the introduction, it takes about five days for a round trip from Huzhou to Jiangsu through Taihu Lake, which was longer before.

Different from the previous model of "relying on the sky to eat", the current Taihu Lake channel is like a "water high speed", and boaters no longer have to worry about sailing.

"Through the 'e-sailing' APP, boat owners can obtain accurate weather information in the Taihu Lake area and linkage warning of closure of the lake 8 hours in advance." Wang Zhenxue introduced that the AIS ship system on board can display the ship's trajectory and transmit it to Huzhou in real time. Traffic comprehensive law enforcement command center, in case of special circumstances, you can call the police for help with one click.

"Now, there is a boat coming from 10 kilometers away, and we will know it early." Wang Zhenxue bluntly said that he never dreamed that sailing would become so smart and safe one day.

The Taihu Lake route is one of the important water transportation channels connecting Huzhou to southern Jiangsu and the main line of the Yangtze River.

In recent years, in response to problems such as severe weather in Taihu Lake waters and ship pollution discharge, the traffic law enforcement departments of Huzhou, Suzhou, Jiangsu and Wuxi have explored and promoted the prevention and control of the source of Taihu Lake, coordinated governance, and digital empowerment, and developed a joint defense, joint control, and joint management. , a new way of joint governance.

"Since 2004, the two provinces and three places around the Taihu Lake have established the "Taihu Lake Area Vessel Pollution Prevention and Navigation Safety Joint Management Mechanism" to promote a number of cross-regional cooperation mechanisms such as Taihu Lake closure linkage, water pollution prevention, and law enforcement and joint logistics integration. , to protect the safety of navigation and the cleanliness of the waters." Bao Guoxiang, a staff member of the Huzhou Municipal Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team, said.
