He explained, during his hosting of a program on the Saudi channel, the ingredients used in the manufacture of ketchup and its containment of preservatives, given the validity period that extends to a year until it expires, and also that it contains flavorings, improvers and artificial colors.

He pointed out another problem, which is that ketchup contains 25% sugar, equivalent to a quarter of the amount used in manufacturing, salt, vinegar, and a number of other substances, and stressed the danger of ketchup to children.

In the same context, he highlighted the danger of mayonnaise, saying, “This is another issue and a catastrophe as well, indicating that 75% of the ingredients of mayonnaise are fat, and it is frequently used in food stores, which leads to obesity and other diseases, according to the “Marsad”.

Al-Ahmadi mentioned the story of a family traveling abroad while they were eating in a restaurant, asking for an increase in mayonnaise, but the response came to them by refusing the restaurant’s commitment to a certain percentage while serving food and its commitment to calories.
