Last Thursday, the Slovakian flying car, AirCar, received a certificate of airworthiness.

This is the first certificate of its kind issued in Europe.

According to this certificate, this car can be used in flight as any light aircraft.

It is noteworthy that this flying car underwent many tests, which consisted of taking off and landing 200 times, during which it spent a total of 70 hours in flight, according to Russia today.

The AirCar differs from its current counterparts in that it is very similar to a traditional racing car, and after landing, its wings bend along the body of the car and its long tail turns into a pole.

It is reported that on December 24, 2021 it became known that scientists from the Russian province of Tyumen designed a drone that can stay in the air for a long period of time thanks to its ability to recharge from electric power lines.

The Slovak Transport Authority, in line with European Aviation Safety Agency standards, has given the AirCar, a flying car prototype, an airworthiness certificate, which means the vehicle is one step closer to reaching the market.
