  In this event, China and the Netherlands used flowers as a medium to create a characteristic "Dutch Tulip Garden", bringing the tulip, the national flower of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Dutch characteristic "Delft Blue Porcelain" to Guangzhou Yuntai Garden.

According to reports, Delft Blue Porcelain has cultural and artistic heritage associated with Chinese blue and white porcelain. Delft Blue Porcelain absorbs the enamel characteristics and blue-dyeing technology of Chinese blue and white porcelain, and integrates Chinese and Western culture and art.

  This time, Guangzhou Yuntai Garden exhibited more than 100,000 tulips of more than 20 varieties.

  2022 is not only the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and China, but also the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou.

To celebrate such a special year, the consulate will hold various themed exchange activities in the following fields, including business, innovation, sports, culture and other fields.

  The event was jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Forestry and Landscape Bureau and the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area Administration.
