The record company Universal Music France unveiled this Friday an unreleased track by Johnny Hallyday recorded in the 70s. A song composed for the film "The Specialist" by Sergio Corbucci, shot in 1969 and in which he played the main role, but which has never been released in cinemas.

Johnny Hallyday has not said his last word.

The record company Universal unveils a song by the recorded star performed for the film

The Specialist

, by Sergio Corbucci, shot in 1969. A spaghetti western in which he played the main role opposite Françoise Fabian and Gastone Moschin.

For the feature film, the star interpreted the title of the same name.

But the film was never released and the song never appeared.

Today, Universal is giving fans a gift by releasing the famous title recorded at the dawn of the 70s this Friday.

Universal Music France owns all of Johnny Hallyday's repertoire recorded between 1961 and 2005. After his death, Warner released the posthumous album 

Mon pays c'est l'amour

 in 2018.

A battle for inheritance

On December 6, 2017, Johnny Hallyday died at the age of 74 following a long battle with cancer.

The French singing star would die surrounded by his loved ones, including his wife Laeticia Hallyday and their daughters, Jade and Joy.

The singer left behind his two other children, Laura and David Hallyday.

The widow also led a long battle against David and Laura, for the inheritance of her husband.

On July 3, 2020, Laeticia Hallyday finalized an agreement with Laura Smet: she thus kept the houses of Marne-la-Coquette and Saint-Barth and undertook to pay the sum of 2.6 million euros to her ex-daughter-in-law.
