Gunma Prefecture announced on the 28th that 1015 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and two people died.
The number of infected people in the prefecture per day exceeded 1000 for the second consecutive day, the second highest in the past.
In Gunma prefecture, 27,193 people have been confirmed infected, of which 188 have died.
