In a strange phenomenon that health monitors in the Asir Municipality did not expect, while reporting the presence of spoiled food in one of the camps on the Hundred Road in the city of Khamis Mushait,
the monitors found a "gazelle, a crocodile and an eagle", all dead in the meat refrigerator.
5 deer were also found alive, 250 kg of spoiled and expired meat were confiscated, and the camp was closed.
According to the circulated pictures, the site appeared to be lacking in general cleanliness, in addition to monitoring the appearance of signs of rust and damage on the equipment, and observers also discovered the absence of health certificates for workers.
The seizure came under the direction and follow-up of the Mayor of Asir region to the evening control team in the secretariat to find out a report about the presence of spoiled food and meat in one of the picnic camps in Khamis Mushait, which he prepares as part of the meals provided to hikers and camp-goers.
The secretariat explained that among those seized were 250 kg of meat that showed signs of spoilage, corruption and expiration date, and the camp was closed immediately.
The Asir secretariat stated that all the seizures were seized before they were destroyed until the competent authorities attended to complete the legal procedures.
