The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority has announced that it will organize the “Sharjah Lights Festival 2022” in its 11th edition, bearing the slogan “Echoes from the Future”, over 12 continuous days of interesting shows and exciting events that will start from February 9 to 20 in various cities. and landmarks of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The head of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority said that the festival, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, returns in its renewed form, to monitor the development and progress of the smiling emirate, and presents artistic perceptions of its bright future scene.
The festival will present 10 dazzling light shows in various parts of the Emirate of Sharjah. This year’s festival sites include: Al Majaz Waterfront, University City Hall, the Holy Quran Complex, in addition to the Sharjah and Al Noor Mosques, the Municipality of Hamriyah, in addition to government buildings in the city of Kalba and a mosque. Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi in Dibba Al-Hisn, as well as the Rafisa Dam in Khor Fakkan.
