Madeleine Matar: Mona Zaki's scenes shook the world, but a child froze from the cold, not worth moving
The Lebanese actress, Madeleine Matar, was keen to support the Egyptian actress Mona Zaki, after the recent attack on her, because of some scenes and bold words in the movie "Friends and My Dearest", of which Mona was one of its heroines.
Madeleine said, in a tweet to her on the social networking site "Twitter": "(Mona) took off her panties and shook the Arab world, and the regimes moved to accuse the film of hitting structural societal values.
"But for one child to freeze in the cold and another to sleep with an empty stomach, they don't deserve any movement or earthquake on social insignificance," Madeleine added.
In another tweet, she expressed her admiration for the film, saying: "Personally, I liked the movie a lot.. She didn't want all of this. They were bombed by great actors who have a long artistic history, and I love them one by one.. A movie that tells the reality and is not obligatory to attend. Relax the contract."
It is noteworthy that the movie "Friends and Dearest" is the first film on the "Netflix in Arabic" platform, starring a group of Arab stars, including Mona Zaki and Iyad Nassar, and it is the first experience in directing by Wissam Samira.
She took off her panties and shook the Arab world, and the regimes moved to accuse a film of striking at structural societal values and providing them with a subject that seemed like it would have been… But for a child to freeze from the cold and another to sleep with an empty stomach, they do not deserve any movement or earthquake on social triviality sites…# Copied # Madeleine_Matar #friends_not_cherished pic.twitter .com/15HYRhqTTN
