Recently, a cross-strait youth welcome event with the theme of "Fujian and Taiwan are connected to youth, Lan Island welcomes the new year" was held in the former Taiwanese town of Pingtan, Fujian.

This event integrates traditional cultural experience, traditional etiquette display, Lantai traditional lantern making experience, and Hanfu cultural experience, and leads Fujian and Taiwan youth to experience the cultural origins of both sides of the strait.
