From March, the yacht of ocean adventurer Kenichi Horie, who is the oldest person in the world to cross the Pacific Ocean without a single port of call, was carried out to the United States of America on the 24th.

The unloading work was carried out at the yacht harbor in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture on the morning of the 24th, and a yacht with a length of about 5.8 meters was fixed to a metal stand and placed on a trailer.

Mr. Horie, who lives in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, is now 83 years old and is known to have succeeded in crossing the Pacific Ocean on a yacht for the first time in the world 60 years ago.

In late March, we will challenge the world's oldest single non-calling port to cross the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco, USA to Japan.

In the United States, due to the resumption of economic activity from the Corona disaster, logistics have been delayed, so it is said that the shipment was carried out about three weeks earlier than planned.

Mr. Horie said, "We are ready. We are excited about the approaching voyage."

Mr. Horie will depart for San Francisco on March 15th, depart on the 26th of local time, and will take about three months to cross the Pacific Ocean.
