This Sunday, the Minister Delegate for Citizenship Marlène Schiappa, announced that she had contracted Covid-19.

The minister clarified that she had isolated herself and underlined on the Twitter platform that she “continues to carry out her duties remotely”.

The Minister Delegate for Citizenship Marlène Schiappa announced on Sunday that she was positive for Covid-19, specifying that she would continue "to carry out (her) functions remotely".

"I have just tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, I am self-isolating and continuing to perform my duties remotely," she tweeted.

Several members of the government have already contracted Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic, the most recent being the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, who announced on January 13 that he had tested positive and presented “mild symptoms”.
