Did Joumana Murad lose the "2.4 million dollars" case in Syria? A picture on "Instagram" raises controversy

A recent photo of the Syrian director, Safwan Namo, was raised on Instagram, accompanied by his brother, who was arrested due to a major financial case with the artist Joumana Murad.

Safwan Namo ended the controversy surrounding the latest data on his case with the Syrian artist Jumana Murad, and Namo confirmed the release of his brother Amir from prison, through a photo he posted on his Instagram account.

Safwan appeared in the photo alongside his brother Amir, accompanied by the artist Firas Ibrahim, Shadi Aswad, and the lawyer Qusai Al-Jallab.

And news spread during the past two days that Safwan stopped being pursued by Interpol, and the circulating news indicated that the police included Safwan with his brother Amir in prison, on charges of defrauding Jumana Murad, and they will face a sentence of up to 25 years.

Murad had accused Safwan and Amir of defrauding her after their cooperation in the series "School of Love 2", and the two brothers refused to pay checks amounting to 2.4 million US dollars to the Syrian artist Joumana.

The two brothers responded to these accusations that they were forced under threat to sign those checks in favor of Murad, and Amir was sentenced to 3 years in prison in Damascus, and the property of the two brothers was seized in favor of Murad, in a Gulf country.

Director Safwan had previously announced the release of his brother and praised in his publication the Syrian judiciary, and expressed his thanks and gratitude for their integrity to stand by his brother until they confirmed his innocence from the lawsuit against him.
