It was mentioned in the hadith on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The virtue of knowledge is dearer to me than the virtue of worship, and the best of your religion is piety.” The meaning: that engaging in the supererogation of seeking beneficial knowledge is better than engaging in supererogatory acts of worship, because credit means The addition indicates that there is some knowledge that is obligatory, and it is learning what is valid for worship and with which the transaction takes place. It is inherited by fear and repentance to his Lord Almighty, and people benefit from His knowledge in their religion and worldly affairs, unlike worship, for its benefit is limited to the worshiper himself, and transgressive action is better than the minor, and this is evidenced by what al-Tabarani narrated from the hadith of Abd al-Rahman bin Auf, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace upon him and his family said:“Easy fiqh is better than a lot of worship, and the best of your deeds is the easiest of them.” And what Al-Bayhaqi brought out in Ash-Shu’b on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God is not worshiped with something better than jurisprudence in religion.”

Then the hadith linked science with piety, and that religion as it increases with science and knowledge also increases and proves with piety, rather it stated that religion with piety is all good, and as it was said: The angel of religion is piety, and its destruction is luxury, and its lack of extravagance, and a hadith is narrated by al-Tabarani on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him. On the authority of them that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The virtue of knowledge is better than worship, and the angel of religion is pious.”

All of this is because piety prevents God Almighty from violating His limits or neglecting His obligations, and forces the soul to watch over the Exalted Lord, Glory be to Him. What the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, guided by saying: “The lawful is clear, and the forbidden is clear, and between them there are doubtful things that many people do not know. Hadith Al-Numan bin Bashir, may God be pleased with them.

The meaning: that a person should not enter into the ambiguities that may be mentioned by the taboo, but rather he should stop at the clear permissible, for it is sufficient for the person and is indispensable to entering into the ambiguities.

This is piety, which is the easiest and simplest thing;

Because it is left, there is no hardship in it, as Al-Bukhari translated in his Sahih on the authority of Hassan bin Abi Sinan, may God have mercy on him, he said: “I have not seen anything easier than piety. What you do not ask about, and the origin of this is what Al-Hasan bin Ali, may God be pleased with him, narrated on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he said: “Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt, for good is peace of mind, and evil is suspicion.” That is, leave what you suspect to others. And in the narration of Wathila bin Al-Asqa’, may God be pleased with him, “And if the fatwas issued to you,” and in another narration from Wabisah bin Ma`bad Al-Juhani, may God be pleased with him, “And if the people have given you a fatwa, and I give you a fatwa.” Shureh Al-Qadi used to say: “O Abdullah, leave what makes you doubt for what does not doubt you.” By God, you will not find the loss of something that you have left to God.”

This is the piety that withholds from the forbidden, and carries on obedience, and it is what our righteous predecessors, may God be pleased with them, were upon, so they lived their religion and their world, and turned to their Lord safe from the burdens, so God rewarded them with the righteousness of their world, and the goodness of their future.

What we need in this time when there are many similarities in earnings, livelihoods, and what goes into the stomachs, and it is known that unlawful earnings, even if they multiply in the hand or in the account, are devoid of blessing, useless, and may be a poison that affects a person’s health, not to mention that it is a disaster for him in his fate. On the day he will turn to his Lord, and how easy it is for a person to avoid suspects.

Because in the halal there is ample space and free from the forbidden, and praise be to God who made it easy for His beloved servants to have the left and spared them hardship.
