The Baodun site, discovered in 1995, is the earliest and largest prehistoric city site in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China. It is the place where humans first settled and lived on a large scale on the Chengdu Plain, and it is also the birthplace of the rice-growing civilization in the Chengdu Plain.

On the 21st, the reporter visited the excavation site of the Baodun site. The staff was carrying out related work in an orderly and meticulous manner. A large number of pottery fragments and stone tool fragments were unearthed on the site.

Among them, the water ripples on the pottery fragments are clearly visible, showing the aesthetics and production skills of the ancient Shu ancestors about 4,500 years ago.
