On January 20, local time, an explosion occurred in a market in Lahore, the capital of eastern Pakistan's Punjab province, killing at least three people and injuring 23 others.
The explosive device was mounted on a motorcycle parked in the market.
After the explosion, police, security forces and rescuers rushed to the scene immediately and took the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At least four of the injured were seriously injured, and the death toll may rise further.
Security forces and police have cordoned off the blast site and are investigating the incident.
At present, no organization or individual has claimed to have created the explosion.
