On January 20, workers are stepping up construction at the construction site of the T3B terminal building project of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
It is reported that the construction area of the T3B terminal of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is about 360,000 square meters. It consists of the main building and four corridors. The main structure is expected to be fully capped by the end of June 2022, mainly for domestic passengers.
After the T3B terminal building is completed and put into use in 2024, Chongqing Jiangbei Airport will form a layout of 4 runways and 4 terminals, which can meet the annual passenger throughput of 80 million, the takeoff and landing of 580,000 sorties, and the cargo and mail throughput of 1.2 million tons. The demand for operation guarantee will be further improved.
