A trip from the Hotel Crillon to the Chanel show on the Périphérique.

Veronika Heilbrunner answers all questions at lightning speed, because she often has to post Instagram stories, especially on days like this in Paris.

Her positive charisma and her sense of style have made her one of the best-known influencers in Germany.

With her fiancé Justin O'Shea, she is one of the most photographed figures at the fashion shows - when they take place.

What do you eat for breakfast?

First, I drink lemon water with vinegar.

Then I go horseback riding.

And then I eat up what Walter left: porridge with oat milk.

Where do you buy your clothes?

Mostly vintage at the moment.

But if I see a traditional costume shop somewhere, I go in - and always find a cardigan or a dirndl that I like.

What is the oldest item of clothing in your closet?

A cotton dress with spaghetti straps from my mother that must be 50 years old.

It was brown, I've worn that before when I played "Dirty Dancing".

I dyed it dark blue and still wear it in the summer.

When was the last time you wrote a letter by hand?

Only recently.

We did a pop-up sale with clothes from my closet, among other things;

the proceeds go to the aid organization "Women for Women".

And then I put a letter in the parcel.

What book has impressed you the most in your life?

"Everyone dies for himself" by Hans Fallada.

When we lived in England I devoured Hilary Mantel's novel Wolf Hall.

How do you find out about world events

?

About news podcasts.

I drive around a lot, so it's very practical.

What's your favorite small talk topic?

Fashion, weather, country and people.

But in Upper Bavaria at the moment it's more like: "When do you think the kindergarten will be closed again?"

What was the last movie that made you cry?

I try to avoid movies that make me cry.

I'd rather watch something funny or scary.

Are you superstitious?

I firmly believe that what you think up or dream about will eventually happen.

Also: I would never put a handbag on the floor, only on the table or the chair.

And if you spill water, immediately dip your finger in it, then touch the skin with your finger, that's supposed to bring money.

What can you laugh about?

About everything, gladly also about Walter.

Incidentally, that's an advantage of the mask: if I want to be strict but have to laugh, then the mask hides the grin well.

At the same time, you have to try to be strict with your eyes.

your favorite first names?

Elisabeth, Walter – obviously traditional names.

Do you take a lunch break?

No, because I have breakfast late and we have dinner at 5 p.m.

In which country would you most like to live?

In many.

I liked England when we lived there.

Then we moved to Bavaria for family reasons, and of course that's wonderful.

Now we're flirting with Paris because Justin spends a lot of time there for work.

What's never missing in your fridge?

Sriracha Chili Sauce, extra hot.

Also butter, cheese, red wine, because I like to drink it cold.

Do you feel freer with or without a car?

Ever since I've been living in the country: definitely with me.

What's your greatest talent?

Always be positive.

What do you do when it's unreasonable?

Eat before riding.

And ride.

My mother recently asked: "What, do you want to jump?" To which I: "Mom, I bought myself a jumping horse." Also quite unreasonable: We have a huge garden without being able to garden at all.

But it's fun.

Which historical person would you like to meet?

Karl Lagerfeld.

I've been to many Chanel fashion shows as a spectator, but unfortunately I never got to know him.

He always spoke so refreshingly frankly.

Do you wear jewellery?

And a watch?

No watch because I never looked at it anyway.

And I'm superstitious about jewelry, I always wear the same thing: a Cartier Trinity ring, the first gift Justin gave me, and the engagement ring, among other things.

We already have wedding rings at home, but we haven't managed to get married yet.

Do you have a favorite scent?

Free 00 by Vyrao.

The founder of this fragrance brand, Yasmin Sewell, is a friend of mine.

What was your best holiday experience?

That was last summer with friends in Murnau am Staffelsee.

As an Australian, Justin found the idea of relaxing on an inland lake rather strange.

But Walter, who can't even swim yet, splashed happily away.

What concert were you at last?

That's a really long time ago.

So long that I don't even remember - it's a shame to have to say something like that.

Luckily, what are you missing?

Nothing.

Cold red wine from the fridge.
