A woman miraculously escaped after the ice broke under her car and plunged the car into the freezing river water.

The woman was driving her car over a frozen river in the Canadian province of Ottawa, Britain's Sky News reported on Wednesday.

The woman was able to get out of the car and into the water, where she was pulled through the kayak that is used in racing and entertainment, and the residents used a rope to pull her to safety and take her to the hospital.
