With the new coronavirus, 393 new infections were announced in Ibaraki Prefecture on the 19th, the highest number ever announced on the 1st.
This is 266 more than last week's 12th, and has nearly tripled.
A total of 26,908 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
