After the announcement of the death of Gaspard Ulliel at the age of 37, following a skiing accident, the former president of the Académie des César, Alain Terzian, paid tribute to the actor at the microphone of Europe 1. "You know, they always say that heroes never die, Gaspard Ulliel, he was a hero. He was handsome, he was young, he was charismatic. The absolute young first."

And to continue: "I had the impression of hearing the disappearance of James Dean or Gérard Philipe so much he had a special position thanks to his rarity in the cinema. He watched everything that was sent to him with a incredible courtesy. He was a rare actor and as such, we sought him out a lot. He was a hero, and they never die. We will keep him in our memories and our hearts for a long time."

He had filmed alongside big names in French cinema

During an eclectic career, Gaspard Ulliel had toured alongside big names in French cinema, such as Isabelle Huppert and Gérard Depardieu.

Angel's face and slight scar linked to a dog scratch in childhood, he was also the face of a Chanel perfume.

Leading a career in France but also internationally, he was soon to be featured in the Marvel

The actor was seriously injured in a skiing accident in La Rosière, Savoie.
