Chen Jinglun, originally from Luokeng Town, Xinhui, Guangdong Province, was born in Hong Kong in 1925. At the age of 17, he assisted his father in the rice industry, real estate and construction.
At a young age, Chen Jinglun lived up to his father's expectations. He learned by doing and quickly became an expert in these fields.
In 1950, his father died of illness, when Chen Jinglun was only 25 years old, and the important responsibility of director of Hong Kong's Guangli Rice Industry and other companies fell on his shoulders.

He funded the construction of Hangzhou Chen Jinglun Sports School, and was awarded the title of "Hangzhou Honorary Citizen" by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government.

In 1993, the second phase of construction was completed, and sports such as table tennis, badminton, martial arts, wrestling, swimming and other sports were also incorporated into the sports school for training management, so it has the current scale.
At the same time, the name of the school was officially changed to Hangzhou Chen Jinglun Sports School.
In 1994, with the approval of relevant departments, the first batch of full-time sports secondary school students was recruited.
After the establishment of Chen Jinglun Sports School, Mr. Chen Jinglun is very concerned about the development of the school, and brings his wife and children here almost every year.
