Today, the Public Prosecutor in Egypt, Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, ordered the referral of five imprisoned defendants to the Criminal Court; For committing the crime of human trafficking by exploiting the victim’s vulnerability #Basant_Khaled in front of their threats to publish indecent images attributed to her with the intention of sexually exploiting her and forcing her to practice indecent acts, and accusing some of them of indecent assault with force and threats, and threatening to publish indecent images of her honor, all of them assaulting the sanctity of her private life, and their infringement of principles and family values ​​in Egyptian society using the international information network.

According to Egyptian media, the Public Prosecution established the evidence before the defendants from the testimony of thirteen witnesses, the confessions of the defendants brought to trial, and the statements of other defendants. A copy of the papers was copied for other facts entrusted to them being disposed of, as they are children under the age of eighteen, as well as an examination report. The General Administration of Forensic Investigation of the photos and clips attributed to the girl, the report of the General Administration of Technical Aid’s examination of the phones of the accused, and the records of a fixed-line company containing conversations between one of the accused and the deceased.

Through its investigations into the incident, the Public Prosecution noted the anguish that the victim suffered from the accused's guilt, until she had to get rid of it by taking her life.

The Public Prosecution affirmed its firm response to the crime of the accused and the prosecution of its perpetrators, and the pursuit of the evidence established before them by all the means authorized by law, and it called upon parents to be kind to their children, listen to them, and share their concerns and what they do wrong with forgiveness and containment, without leaving them to plunder and looting consequences. dire.

The Public Prosecution appealed to young people to take responsibility for preserving their lives, which they have in trust, fulfilling their rights in front of their innocent, and alerting them that getting rid of them out of conscious and sound will, if not a criminal offense, or an act that takes them out of the religious faith, is a great sin;

To take a soul that no one has the right to take possession of except for its creator.

The Public Prosecution called upon public and private institutions to combine their efforts towards confronting the problem of suicide in society, and directing scientific and societal research to provide mechanisms for its prevention, and to reject the causes that call for it.

It also called on the Egyptian legislator to reconsider the intensification of penalties for crimes of violating the sanctity of private life and threatening if it leads the victim to get rid of his life, such as the case of the victim in the incident, as well as to consider criminalizing the sale and circulation of grain preservation grains for non-specialists using them.
